Innovation Park
Von Braun Center’s mission is to explore the Universe creating opportunities here on Earth.
Von Braun’s mission is to explore new frontiers in Science creating practical applications and opportunities that, in turn, generate support to deeper scientific explorations in a Virtuous Cycle. The Center is named after Dr Wernher von Braun, the architect who, along with his team, not only created the spectacular machines that open the doors of outer space to mankind, but also whom gave the spirit to the huge human endeavor and collaboration coming from scientific institutions to innovation in the industry, back to more incentives to scientific exploration (the virtuous cycle), that land man on the Moon, spinning the wheel of human progress far beyond its own time. The Center’s mission is not only to promote virtuous cycles, but to promote it in the Dr Wernher von Braun’s way.
Von Braun Center promotes innovation cycles combining professional multinational companies with scientific development performed by innovation teams to fulfill all stages from the concept to the end-product. The initiative is known as the Spin Program and is based on opportunities Von Braun Organization generates from product demands it develops and harvests around the world.
A new Von Braun facility is under planning to physically integrate all players of the value cycle under the same roof: The Wernher von Braun Innovation Park, a 75,000 square-meter facility near Von Braun Labs in Campinas, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
On one side the innovation building supports invited companies to supply solutions to the demands von Braun organization brings from all over the world. On the other side, von Braun Laboratories and other invited Research Centers provide innovations required by the product supply-chain. The innovations generated are encapsulated in the form of start-ups, i.e., generating value while offering the solutions needed by the end-customer.
